Christ is our life.  When the Holy Spirit takes up residence in us, He brings with Him an inexhaustible source of life...The paactical outworking of this is twofold:  (1) personal victory over sin and (2) Spirit-energized service.

"It is the Spirit who gives life; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life."

Kentucky Derby

The thunder of galloping hooves the taste of mint juleps, and the sight of lavish wide-brimmed hats can mean only  one thing - the Kentucky Derby.  On the first Saturday each May, the first horse race of the Triple Crown, often called the fastest two minutes in sports, is held at Churchill Downs in Louisville.  This American institution has been celebrated for more than 140 years and enthusiasts know that it is much more than the two-minute run in May, commemorate the classic event by hosting a tea that embraces the traditions and customs tied to the memorable day with lovely menu options.
